What’s New in AMPRO version 3.1?
|
|
Here’s a list of the major new
features we’ve added to AMPRO in version 3.1. To download the trial
version of AMPRO
version 3.1,

Security
|
|
This new feature gives an admin user the ability to set
module level permissions (Add/Update/Delete) and function level
permissions (Allow) for each user that can log on to AMPRO. You can set up
the default security permissions so that when you add a new AMPRO user
they will automatically inherit these default security permissions. You
then have the ability to go in and ‘fine tune’ the permissions if
necessary, all from an easy to use interface.
You can now add a database password to your AMPRO
database (Microsoft® Access 2000 databases only) to make your data more
secure. |
Purchase Orders
Module
|
|
This powerful new module allows you to quickly and easily
create and manage your purchase orders from one central location. |
|
By linking your inventory to suppliers you can choose
from a list of items that you only purchase from the supplier the purchase
order is being raised for.
Seamlessly integrated with the Jobs module so you can
create a purchase order from a Job with the click of a button, receive
items directly to a Job and update the order quantity if the quantity
required on the Job changes.
Use the Inventory Reorder report to list the items that
need to be ordered.
Use Crystal Reports to create your own Purchase Order
form to replace the standard AMPRO purchase order form. |
Upgrade to
Inventory Module
|
|
We've given the Inventory module an upgrade. |
|
Multi store functionality allows you to record
information like Bin Location, Quantity on Hand, Minimum Stock Level and
Reorder Quantity against an Inventory Item at multiple locations.
Multi supplier functionality with the ability to select
a preferred supplier and individual costs. |
Parent Jobs
|
|
Parent Jobs are perfect for those larger projects and
for grouping common Jobs together. Simply flag the Job (new or existing)
as a Parent Job and then link as many child Jobs to it as you need. Track
how much the project has cost and how long it has taken using the
estimated and actual costs and hours from the child Jobs which are
totalled up and displayed on the Parent Job listing. |
